Hi, I'm trying to share my windows media player library that is on my win 7 pc with my xp laptop. I can navigate from my laptop to folders on my win 7 pc and play files that way but I'm trying to get the library option working. Both computers are in the same workgroup and are both visable in the same workgroup from my xp laptop. However if I go into network on my win7 pc I can see the laptop in the computer section but not in the media device section. When i then go into the sharing options on the win7 windows media player i can not see the xp laptop so I can't allow sharing. I guess the problem is that my xp laptop is only showing up as a computer and not a media device?
